How does Gravity Work? How does Gravity Work? How does Gravity Work? How does Gravity Work?

What do we know about Gravity?

newton gravity1 inertia elevator

Here are some things that I know.

rocket rocketsled To make sure that the rocket/elevator acceleration is not influenced by the downward force of gravity, lets uncouple them by looking at a horizontal rocket sled. There are two forces acting on the passenger, one vertical (gravity) and one horizontal (acceleration). The acceleration results in the distorting of human body and face!

centrifuge The centrifuge generates the same kind of acceleration and also causes the same distortion to the human body.
Now we have three (3) "forces", generated in three (3) different modes, that look and act identical.

"Arguing that the laws of physics in a laboratory under uniform gravity is identical to those in a laboratory undergoing an acceleration, Einstein developed the idea of gravitation as spacetime curvature." Einstein's new theory of gravitation -- his general theory of relativity.

By that logic, linear acceleration and rotary acceleration should also be the result of "spacetime curvature". This is very puzzling!

rubber horz rubber vert When Einstein had trouble explaining his new theory of gravitation to the public, someone came up with a picture of a rubber membrane with a dimple under the large mass (above). Everyone nodded, as if they understood. No one suggested that the "real gravity" was making the mass sink into the rubber membrane. BUT, if the image had been turned on edge (right), everyone would have asked, "What is the force pushing the mass to the right?" and no one (except a mathemathican) would have agreed with this lame theory.

Is Gravity A Flow?

If we compare gravity and acceleration, what will we get?

Where does Gravity Start?

spiralgalaxy spiralgalaxy2 solarsystem

While our first experience with gravity is what we feel at the surface of the earth, nothing about that experience helped us figure out how gravity worked. Newton linked gravity with the attraction of the earth and the moon and sun. As our telescopes got better, we discovered lots and lots of galaxies. Most of them are SPIRALS, the pattern you get with a "sink vortex". Our astronomers deduce that our structure, the Milky Way Galaxy is also a spiral galaxy. This spiral pattern continues down to the next level, our Solar System.

earthmoon water vortex Everyone now believes the Earth rotates once a day on its axis and that the moon orbits the earth approx. once a month. The spiral part of this rotation is lost to us from our vantage point. But, if you take a time-lapse picture of a particle that travels down (and around) the spiral, of the 3-D image of a vortex to the right, and view from the top, you get a spiral.

The structual pattern of rotation of everything in the gravitation "field", from the very large galaxies to our local planet, is apparent to anyone that looks.

Looks like Einstein got his theory of Gravity wrong. "Space-Time" curvature doesn't seem to be helpful in understanding HOW gravity works.

The truth is in the details

Comparing the concept of a streaming flow of aether, following the pattern of a water vortex, with the known evidence, we get:

Affecting matter uniformally, is the prime example for considering a streaming flow of aether. Since every part of an object is equally effected by gravity, down to the smallest parts, ie. the atoms and molecules, the "force" must be transmitted by an agent that is smaller than the smallest part of the object.

Others in the past have proposed theories like this that come close to matching the evidence. George-Louis LeSage (1724-1803) of Geneva proposed his simple kinetic theory for gravity, offering a mechanical explanation for the force exerted on all material things. A "Fluid" passing through a material body would provide the effect that we see everyday. Others, later, refered to LeSage's theory as "Pushing Gravity". "Pushing" does not match the evidence very well. "Flowing" gravity more closely matches the facts.

LeSage didn't know about galaxies and rocket acceleration and gyroscopic accelerations, so he got some of the details wrong. BUT, he did show us the right direction!

The truth is in the physical evidence

The physical evidence comes as a result of searching for Michelson's Aether Drift. Using an interferometer of Michelson's design, I turned the apparatus on it's side. And, eureka, there is the physical evidence of Michelson's Aether Drift, in the vertical plane. See the experiment here.

Observation, inference, logic, theory and now evidence all converge! That is the way Science is supposed to work, isn't it?
